- 1.Open Photos and find Utilities — inside Collections on current iOS, or under Albums on older versions.
- 2.Tap Duplicates (the album appears on iOS 16 and later once indexing has run).
- 3.Tap Merge on a pair, or Select → Merge All to combine every detected duplicate.
- 4.Empty Recently Deleted afterwards to release the space immediately.
